You may return or exchange most Bagby products within 30 days of delivery, as long as the item is unused and in original condition. Personalized items are not eligible for return. Please read the details below to understand our full policy.

Changing or Cancelling Your Order

• Orders can't be changed or cancelled from your account — your account lets you view your order and its tracking only.

• To cancel an order, change an item, or update your shipping address, please contact our support team. A member of our team will review your request during normal business hours and make the change if it's still possible.

• Orders move through our system quickly, so we can't guarantee a change or cancellation can be made before your order ships.

• If your order has already shipped, you can still request a return or exchange once it arrives, as outlined below.

Returns & Exchanges

• You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return or exchange.

• Products must be unused, in original condition, and returned with the original invoice.

• Personalized items are not eligible for return or exchange.

• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds

• Customers may choose whether they wish to receive refunds to the original payment method or to store credit.

• Once the refund is issued to the original payment method, or to store credit, the refund method may not be changed. 

• The refund will be issued once the item is received and inspected. If the returned item is not in suitable condition, it may be returned to you at your expense.

• Alarm clocks must be shipped back in a protective shipping box; otherwise, refunds will not be issued.

• If the item arrived damaged or not functioning, contact us for a full refund—we’ll cover the costs.

• For exchanges, any price difference will be charged or refunded to the original payment method.

Important Return Conditions

• Do not return items without contacting us first or sending to an incorrect address—these are ineligible for refunds.

• Returns made more than 30 days after your last customer service interaction will not be accepted.

• Items marked as “delivered” by the shipping carrier are not eligible for refund or replacement.

International Orders

• Customers outside the USA are responsible for return shipping costs.

• The original shipping cost and any import duties or VAT will be deducted from the refund.

Although we are based in the USA, we ship worldwide. We make Bagby available all around the world.

We normally use a USPS service for businesses but you might find other options (Fedex, UPS, etc) depending on where you are located. Once we sent your Bagby, you will receive a tracking code to track the status of your order at all times.

Yes, at Bagby we believe in the quality of our goods and warrants to the consumer that, for up to 1 year from the date of purchase, the goods will be replaced or repaired when there is a defective in materials or workmanship.

Bagby Warranty does not cover damage caused by abuse, neglect, unreasonable use of the product or failure to follow instructions provided with the product. We do not warrant against normal wear, including lens scratching or accidental product breakage.

Lost items are not covered by the warranty. This warranty doesn't cover any shipping costs associated to returns or replacements.

Bagby is the result of a personal story / experience. The idea was born on Kickstarter on July 2017 to help my Juan Sanchez and his wife reconnect their relationship, and take it to the next level. They realized their phones were taking them away from a mindful and healthy relationship path so Juan proposed to start a #PhoneFreeBedroomChallenge. 

Soon after, they discovered the benefits this simple change in behavior could bring to people, especially couples like them, so they decided to create Bagby. Truth be told, we haven’t brought our phones back in the bedroom since.

Back in October 2017, their first child was born. This is the reason why the Bagby logo has a baby face.

In 2024, R Blank and his team at Shield Your Body acquired Bagby. R and SYB believe in the Bagby mission because we are both are deeply committed to helping people build healthier relationships with technology. While SYB focuses on reducing the physical health risks of EMF exposure, Bagby promotes digital wellbeing through screen-free routines and mindful product design. R Blank shares Bagby’s belief that technology should support—not dominate—our lives. Through Bagby, R and SYB are able create real-world solutions that help people disconnect, sleep better, and live more intentionally. Together, we're addressing both the physical and behavioral impacts of our tech-driven world.

We understand your concerns when your alarm clock is not functioning properly. Here are some steps to troubleshoot common issues:

• Step 1: Ensure the battery is fully inserted and making proper contact. Press down firmly on both sides of the battery.
• Step 2: Check the time-setting knob. If it seems pushed down too hard, gently pull it back up. If the knob comes out, you can reinsert it.

If these steps do not resolve your issue, please send a short video showing the back of the clock with the battery inserted and the front showing the malfunction, to help us better diagnose and resolve the problem.

Bagby began production in a small workshop in Argentina.

Today, we design our Bagby products in the USA. Our Bagby alarm clocks are made with components from China, and they are fully EMF-free.

Yes, Bagby products are designed to fit any phone, smartphone, size, brand, etc, Including XL, MAX, Plus and any new model.

With that said, you might encounter some issues if you use extra large or super bulky phone covers.

Our clock use 1 AA battery (It can last between 12 - 24 months depending on the battery brand). We believe this is better than a clock plugged in with a cable so you can use it anywhere.

1. Get to Know the Clock

• Front: Includes hour, minute, second, and alarm hands.

• Back: Features five functions—On/Off switch, light/snooze button, alarm-setting knob, time-setting knob, and AA battery compartment.

2. Install the Battery (1 × AA, 1.5 V)

• Slide open the compartment and insert the battery with correct polarity (+/–).

• Ensure the battery is fully seated; almost all clock issues stem from poor or old batteries.

3. Set the Current Time

• Use the time-setting knob to move hour and minute hands.

• The second hand starts moving once the battery is inserted.

4. Set the Alarm

• Flip the On/Off switch to ON for the alarm to operate.

  • Note: The alarm will ring at the set time both AM and PM unless you turn it off.

  
  

• Use the alarm knob to adjust the silver alarm hand to your desired wake-up time (e.g., between 7 and 8 for 7:30).

• When the alarm rings, press the light button to activate a 5‑minute snooze. It will continue to ring every 5 minutes until you switch the alarm toggle to OFF.

5. Use the Light and Snooze Button

• Press the button to temporarily light up the face for easy viewing at night.

• During an alarm, pressing it snoozes the chime for about 5 minutes per press.

6. Alarm On/Off Toggle

• For a single morning alarm: Set to ON at night, then switch to OFF after waking.

• For alarms twice a day: Leave at ON and it will ring at both AM and PM times.

7. Troubleshooting Tips

• Always use a fresh AA battery and ensure it’s properly inserted—95% of problems are resolved this way.

• Confirm the alarm switch is in the correct position they intended (ON to activate, OFF to deactivate).

8. Reading Analog Time Correctly

• A clock face has 12 sections—each hour mark also represents 5-minute increments.

• The short hand shows the hour (if between 3 and 4, read it as 3).

• The long hand indicates minutes (each number dot = 5 minutes).

• Example readings:

  • Time = 10:37 → hour hand set between 10 & 11 (read 10), minute hand near 7 (35)–8 (40), read 37.

  • Time = 1:20 → hour just past 1, minute at the 4 = 20. Alarm hand only senses its own silver pointer.

Bagby no longer offers the pink or mint green versions of the Bagby Night sleep mask. This change was made to improve light-blocking performance.

The pink and mint green sleep masks were discontinued based on customer feedback.

• Some users reported that these lighter colors did not block out enough light for optimal sleep.

• To enhance effectiveness, Bagby now offers only the darker-colored versions, which provide better light blocking.

Q: Will the pink or mint green sleep masks return in the future?

A: At this time, there are no plans to bring back these colors. We’ve prioritized darker shades to ensure the best experience for our customers.

Quick Steps

1. When the alarm rings, press the top light button.

2. This will snooze the alarm for approximately 5 minutes, during which the alarm will pause.

3. After 5 minutes, it will ring again. You can press the light button again to snooze repeatedly.

4. To fully stop the alarm, flip the Alarm On/Off switch to OFF.
